Stress Relief 101

We tend to think of stress as coming from outside sources. You may recognize some of the following statements about stress.

This situation with him stresses me out!

I’m going through a stressful week at work.

I’m so stressed out over finances.

Driving in traffic stresses me to rage!

You get the idea.

Pure and simple, stress is resistance–resistance against something we don’t like or something we may not want to do, but feel obligated or responsible to fulfill. Resistance against someone who we don’t agree with or don’t like to be around. Stress doesn’t feel good.

In this universe governed by the Law of Attraction where–that which is like unto itself, is drawn–like simply attracts like. When laws are involved, there is no other option. The Law states that like attracts like. The universe is playing a matching game where the rule demands when a vibration is given off, it must, by law, find something that essentially matches the same vibration.

We know that everything is energy–thank you, Albert–and as such, our every thought is energy. We, also, know that energy is in constant motion and gives off vibrations. So, our thoughts are constantly giving off vibrations of different frequencies.

If the universe, by law, is matching each vibration of thought, and if we are thinking we are under stress, doesn’t it stand to reason we have attracted whatever stressors we believe we are suffering, by our own thoughts??

So, if we have attracted the stress by our thoughts, can’t we simply change our thoughts to a different vibrational frequency to gain some relief? I’m so glad you asked! Yes, we can!!

Because we attracted stress by our thoughts, we absolutely can change our thoughts to change our attraction to stressors. We have the power within our thoughts to attract a calm and peaceable life! Ease and flow can be the dominant experience with the right kind of thoughts–thoughts that actually feel good.

Stress is a resistance to something or someone unwanted. Resistant thoughts activate more thoughts of resistance, which attract more resistance. We are now completely stressed out!!

Instead, why not look for positive aspects in an unwanted situation? Remember the saying about everything having a silver lining? Find something, some aspect, to appreciate as you are facing something unwanted, rather than being in resistance. Every time we look for something to appreciate, we are activating our vibrational attraction of more to appreciate!

Every situation is either fulfilling a desire or clarifying a desire. In other words, when we are experiencing something we attracted–because we attract everything that comes to us–it is either fulfilling one of our desires or it is giving us time to clarify the details of a desired improvement.

While we are facing some situation that we see could turn into a stress for us, why not take the opportunity to change our thoughts and find something to appreciate. Even if it’s simply to appreciate the opportunity to decide more clearly what we really do want.

Appreciate that this person has given you the opportunity to clarify an improved vision of your relationships. Appreciate the fact that you have work and want to be successful. Appreciate a characteristic or quality that the person exemplifies–even if it’s that they have nice hair! Appreciate that you have a vehicle and feel yourself gliding on a magic carpet of ease and flow through traffic.

And maybe, just maybe, you may have to say, NO. No, I will not help with this project. No, I will not help you move this weekend. No, son/daughter we are not joining another athletic team that takes away from our family time. No, to the busyness. No, to the hurrying. Just say NO!

We are not here to please others. We are not here to make sure everyone else is happy at the expense of our sanity and well-being. We must stop being people-pleasers! We can never do enough for others to please them all the time. And, there are just too many moving parts to please or control! Resisting our well-being by trying to please everyone else is attracting way to much stress. The more people-pleasing you perform, the more reasons you’ll attract unnecessary stress.

But, we have the power to say no to others, and yes to ourselves, our peace of mind and well-being. Yes to our freedom of choice! Yes to new thought patterns that bring relief.

Yes, this change of attitude and thought patterns take time and practice, but the effort is so worth…YOU!

The B’s of Dream Building (Part 4 of 4)

In this final Part 4 in the Series of The B’s of Dream Building (Blueprinting, Bridging and Building) we will culminate all that we’ve learned into “Becoming” the person living the life we love!  This is where you harvest your dream!  This is the most exciting and exhilarating phase of your Dream Building!  Your Becoming is when you begin living the life you love and experiencing the transformative qualities you’ve worked so hard to assimilate into your new life.  You have attained multiple goals towards living your dream and aspects of your dream life has manifest into your reality.

You may become a totally different person than you were just 12 weeks ago prior to your Dream Builder coaching program.  You may hardly recognize yourself and this should be a wonderful surprise.  You are becoming a person who has allowed yourself to dream, design and test your dream.  Just learning to navigate the gap between where you used to be and where you are today has been quite the accomplishment!  You have learned to build your dream and now you are harvesting your dream!  Becoming is life’s journey so there will always be more unfoldment as you allow it to work its magic.

As your dream manifests into your reality gaining your freedom, the essence of life within you desires to express an ever fuller, upward spiral of life and you will have increased urgings to continue to grow and transform your becoming.  Your dreams may continue to grow and expand.

You may see new aspects to your dream life that you want to implement.  New longings for an even greater life experience may tug on your heart strings.  Others witnessing your transformation may inquire as to how they can experience improvement in their current existence.  They may want the hope of a greater, fuller expression of their life’s purpose.

This is your opportunity to share your source for transformation.  You have the opportunity to refer those who inquire for coaching so they, too, can begin healing their world!  This is the purpose for all of us as we begin to heal our world.  Share the blessings with the observers of your life transformation!

This may, also, be a great time to repeat the Dream Building program one more time, because you will be a different person at an advanced stage of your dream life.  The program will solidify in your soul as you practice the principles over and over—Blueprinting + Bridging + Building = Becoming!

This would be an awesome time for you to invite a group of friends and family that would experience the Dream Building program together as a small group with you.  This way your weekly coaching calls would only be your private group you’ve invited to join.

The B’s of Dream Building (Part 3 of 4)

There are 3 B’s to Dream Building.  The first is Blueprinting, the second is Bridging and the third is Building.  All these lead up to Becoming the person who is living the life they love.

In this Part 3 in the Series of The B’s of Dream Building we will cover “Building”.   Building your dream is where the rubber meets the road.  This is where the action resides.  This is where you will really begin to see transformation in your life as you practice the principles presented in the Dream Building program.   Those baby steps will finally start paying off great dividends.

In the Building phase of the Dream Building program you will learn to listen to your still small voice that gives you creative ideas, makes gentle course corrections and steer s you into the life you love.  This is where you will learn to quiet your mind and body to be able to hear that still small voice.  We live such busy, hectic lives that we refuse to slow down enough to spend quiet time within ourselves.  This chaos can be very detrimental to your well-being and deter growth towards your goals.

Sometimes you will be moving between the Bridging and Building phases as necessary.  Bridging and Building have a very close working relationship.  As you begin building you may need to refer back to mindset training and refresh your practice.  Developing faith in yourself and your dream, developing self-confidence and a healthy self-image will open new realms of possibility to build your new life upon.

During the Building phase you will learn how to harness your power of believing.  You may not believe it right now, but you have infinite power to believe in yourself and your dream life!  You will learn how to harness your believing powers.  Faith is the key to persistence.  Your power of believing will carry you through, over, under or around those obstacles or struggles that will appear in your pathway.  They will come, so you will learn tools to deal with them and use them for steps to greater things.

The last phase of Building is learning to turn your failures into stepping stones.  Those events that you have deemed as failures will now be shown to be stepping stones to your bright future.  You will become like Thomas Edison who chose to view his multiple thousands of failures to create the electric light bulb as feedback!  He learned thousands of way NOT to build a light bulb and used this feedback to finally succeed in his goal.  This feedback became his stepping stones to success.  You, too, will learn how to use your failures/feedback into stepping stones/action steps to living the life you love!

In the final Part 4 of this series we will discuss the next phase of Dream Building which culminates all the B’s into “Becoming”.

The B’s of Dream Building (Part 2 of 4)

There are 3 B’s to Dream Building.  The first is Blueprinting, the second is Bridging and the third is Building.  All these lead up to Becoming the person who is living the life they love.

In this Part 2 in the Series of The B’s of Dream Building we will cover “Bridging”.  This is a critical phase of Dream Building, because this is where you prepare to navigate the gap between where you are now and where you see yourself living the life you love.  That gap can be scary and difficult to navigate without assistance.  This is where support coaching is vital.  You can see that IF you could bridge the gap between where you are and the life you love and was easy to accomplish, you would have done so already.  This is not to diminish your ability, but it is meant as an encouragement to seek help and ask for coaching so that your results are accomplished more rapidly.

In Bridging the gap, you will learn to befriend your fear.  This may sound absurd, but we know that fear will always be a part of our lives, so it is imperative that we learn how to make friends with our fear.  Please know that fear is in your life for your protection, so it is doing a good job by creating fear in you so that you stay safe and don’t seek out dangerous risks.  On the other hand, fear can cause you to freeze up and never take action to make the necessary changes to live the life you love.  You will be taught techniques to befriend your fear and actually use it for thrusters to catapult you forward into transformation!

The next phase of Bridging is welcoming the greater flow of abundance.  You will receive techniques and tools to change your mindset.  Our beliefs about abundance may be stuck in old paradigms (beliefs) downloaded from others that influenced our mindset during childhood.  These are the beliefs like, “Money doesn’t grow on trees”, “You have to work hard for money”, “You have to have money to make money” or “Love is illusive and no one ever lives happily ever after”, “You can’t do that, you can’t do anything right”, “________ disease runs in our family so I have that to look forward to in my old age”, or “Just grow up and get real—dreams don’t come true.”

Abundance is a flow of energy and you will learn how to step into that flow with ease.  You will be amazed at the transformation of your mindset around abundance when we complete this phase!

Along with transforming your mindset around abundance and prosperity in every area of your life, you will also learn a new skillset to evolve your perceptions.  We make all of our decisions through our perceptions—the way we judge every event and circumstance.   Either we look at the facts of circumstances and get depressed, fearful or angry, or, we look at circumstances and see the opportunity hidden in the struggle.  Which of these two perceptions would most benefit you in living the life you love?

The B’s of Dream Building (Part 1 of 4)

There are 3 B’s to Dream Building.  The first is Blueprinting, the second is Bridging and the third is Building.  All these culminate into Becoming the person who is living the life they love.

In this Part 1 in the Series of The B’s of Dream Building we will cover “Blueprinting”.  We will discover your dream.  We will dig deep inside your heart and find that great purpose of your life.  We will design and test your dream to see if it matches your life’s purpose.  Finally, we will see how to increase your dream.

What is Blueprinting?  When you start noticing your feelings of discontent in the life you’re now living and your heart longs for a better life, you begin your blueprinting stage of Dream Building.  Most of us know what we don’t want, but how many ever stop and really think about what we do want?

In this stage of Dream Building you open your thoughts to what you would absolutely love to do, be or have.  You will begin thinking about what things light you up; ignite an excitement in your soul.  You will get really excited just talking about doing that particular thing in life.  Maybe you’ve experienced it in the past and let the enthusiasm die, because you listened to the world that told you to stop dreaming and get real.  Or, maybe it’s something you’ve never done before, but it’s something you’ve always dreamed about doing.

If you listened to those in your past that told you to stop day dreaming, get an education, get a job and work hard the rest of your life, you may have felt you had to squash your dream to live responsibly.

Maybe you are living some of your dream life, but now you want an even better life.  If there is any discontent of where you are now and have that deep longing of wanting something more, you are ready to Blueprint your dream!

Imagine that you want to build your dream home.  You don’t go to the architect and tell him to design your dream home.  He doesn’t know what that looks like.  You would actually tell him exactly how you want the house to look; all the features and amenities; along with the number of bedrooms, baths, kitchen design, your living space and garages.  He wants to know the exact dimensions of each room, how many windows, the interior finishes, the exterior finishes and roof.  You may dream of your house being in a particular part of the country, the lay of the land or the specific sub-division where it will be built.  With these details laid before him, the architect has something to work with when he creates the drawings for your dream home.  You may decide to make some changes along the way and then you will be issued the blueprints.  These will tell the builder how and where to build your new home.

Blueprinting is what we do as we ask you to dream of the life you love.  You will create a picture of your new life in very specific detail.  You will realize how awesome it feels to live this new dream in everyday life.

Once you have your dream in mind, then we will ask you to design and test your dream.  If you can see yourself living this dream life you are in the design stage.  Once this is accomplished, we will ask you to test it against the prescribed test questions that all need a resounding “yes” for their answers.   If you have even one of the test questions answered as a “maybe” or a “no”, then you will need to tweak your dream to get it to perfectly fit your life’s purpose.

After you have discovered your dream, designed and tested your dream, it’s time to look at it with the eyes of increasing your dream.  Once you read over and study your dream, you may see that you missed some aspects of the dream initially that really would be important to add now.  This is where you will add those details that would complete this phase of your Dream Building.

Is There Benefit in Self-Criticism?

“You do not need to dig a hole for you by beating yourself over the head over what’s wrong in order to give birth to what’s right.” ~Abraham-Hicks

How many times do we beat ourselves up and criticize ourselves?  How many times do we dig a hole and throw ourselves in because we punish ourselves for something we did or didn’t do to suit ourselves or others?

How long will we keep choosing to suffer under our own hand because we’ve judged something wrong or bad?

Even if we don’t physically beat ourselves, our self-talk is suffering enough!  Why do we judge ourselves so harshly?  Does it maybe come down to the belief that we’re just not good enough?

Brow-beating ourselves with critical self-talk will never bring about the good that we desire.  Punishment of self does not bring good into our lives.  We cannot get to a better life by punishing ourselves.

Maybe it’s time to let go of our perceived right and wrong actions; good and bad; righteous and evil.  Yes, we live in a physical world of contrasts–that’s how we know what we want and what we don’t want.  Contrast bring clarity.  When you see something or experience something that does not make you feel good, you know that is something you do not want.  In contrast to that, you see something or experience something that does make you feel really good–so you immediately know that is what you do want.

Our emotions are simply letting us know in the moment we experience them, if we are in alignment (agreement) or not with what our Inner Being (soul, spirit, inner Source, the eternally expanding part of us) is thinking about the same subject.  If we feel good about what we are thinking, we are in alignment with what our Inner Being knows to be true about us.  If we feel bad about what we are thinking, we are not in alignment or in disagreement with what our Inner Being knows about us.

These feelings/emotions let us easily know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, where we stand in our process of aligning with who we really are (our Inner Being).  Simply paying attention to the way we feel will make life more delightful if we are willing, when we feel a negative emotion, to distract our thoughts from those thoughts and focus our thoughts on more pleasing thoughts that bring relief and a good feeling.

There is no need to suffer endlessly with the feeling of not being enough or that everything you do is wrong.  When you experience these kinds of feelings, you are simply disagreeing with who your Inner Being knows you to be.  You are more than likely trying too hard to please someone else or you have placed entirely too much emphasis on getting the approval of others, as if their opinions matter more than yours.

We can never please people all of the time.  We will never be enough for their lack of alignment with their Inner Being.  That’s not our job.  That is the job of Source Energy.  When we try to please someone else over pleasing ourselves, we try to take on the job of Source.  That is an impossible task!  Their alignment and good-feelings are their job.  Each person must do their own vibrational work of alignment with the Source within to be happy and feel good.

We came into this time-space reality from the non-physical (the eternal us) knowing exactly who we really are–powerful creators of our eternal expansion.  We knew we were absolutely unconditional love, pure, positive energy that creates worlds.  We came here to experience the contrast that the physical life offers.  We came to see what we don’t like and what we do like.  This built-in preference mechanism creates rockets of desire shooting into our vibrational escrow account and is held there for us as we find our path of vibrationally matching all that we desire.  When we are happy and feeling good we are in the Vortex and emanating a vibrational matching signal to all that we desire.  This is when we feel really good.

When we feel bad or experience a negative emotion, it simply indicates a misalignment with who we really are–that loving, pure, positive energy of expansion.  Negative emotions do not signal that we are wrong or bad!  Feelings are an indicator of our vibrational energy–not a judgment of who we are permanently!  Feelings change with our thoughts.  When we feel bad we are simply in resistance to all that our Inner Being knows us to be, because our Inner Being has already expanded into all that we desire.  We just need to keep up with all that our Inner Being has already become.  And, we do this by thinking thoughts of pleasure and feeling good.

But, it’s our choice.  Either we can continue to suffer the effects of misalignment or we can choose to think thoughts that match what our Inner Being already knows about us.  You can easily tell what you are thinking, by how you feel.  If you feel good, you know you are in alignment.  If you feel bad, you know you are out of alignment.  It’s just that simple.

So, how do we pick better-feeling thoughts?

How do we get out of this pattern of beating up on ourselves?

Beating up on ourselves never brings about any benefit.  We cannot beat ourselves up hard enough or long enough to get to what’s right for us, as individuals.  We cannot focus on all that is wrong in our lives and expect to see anything that is going right in our lives.  We can’t get to the solution from focusing on problems–or our perceived problems.  They are two different vibrational levels.

Here are a few statements that may help bring you some relief:

I don’t always get stuff wrong.

Sometimes I get stuff right.  Sometimes I’m really proud of myself and it makes me feel pretty darn good.

I only feel like I’m not doing something right when they show their disapproval of me.  When I notice they disapprove it makes me feel so bad.  And, I really want to feel good.

Why should their opinion matter more than my own opinion?  Shouldn’t I have more say about how I feel and that my opinion matters the most?

I really like it when I think I’ve done something I’m proud of.

I used to feel like I did a lot of things right.  I wonder if it’s possible for me to feel that way again?

I know I do things well.  Sometimes I can do things better than others.  And, that feels really good.

I need to stop letting someone else’s opinion or judgment cloud my good feeling when I know I’ve done a job well.

I do have some really positive characteristics.  I can think of these positive aspects about me and my life so far….. (begin to list all the positive aspects and characteristics that you appreciate about you where you are right now).

It would be excellent if you would begin to write in a Journal of Positive Aspects all the good-feeling things that you can think of every day.  Even if you can only think of two or three things that are super simple–like, I love my cat, I really like a warm shower in the morning, I enjoy my morning coffee, etc.  Eventually, you will begin to think of more and more things you love about your life.  That’s the momentum of positive thoughts you want to accomplish so you vibrationally match all that you desire.

The more you focus on positive aspects of your life and what makes you feel good, the more you are aligning with what your Inner Being already knows about you.  When you look for anything long enough, you will eventually start finding it–whether negative or positive.  Your world will begin to shift in subtle, and not so subtle, ways to show you exactly what you are looking for.

So, what are you looking for?

Are you looking for proof that you can’t do anything right?  Or, are you looking for proof that you are a wonderful, magnificent, intelligent, creative, loving being?  Proof will show up for you in either case.  It’s up to you to choose where you’re going to look.

Stop beating up on yourself.  It will never benefit you or anyone around you.  Start praising yourself.  Start looking for proof that you are the pure, positive energy your Inner Being already has become.  Catch up with who you really are and allow more good things and good feelings into your experience!

2016 New Year’s Resolution of Happiness!

It’s New Year’s Eve!

Looking back over 2015, I can see some major improvements in my life.  I believe I have grown and transformed into more of the person I know I am.  Actually, I believe I’ve simply uncovered and remembered the who-I-really-am part of me—the eternal, pure, positive being.  I’m learning to let go of stuff and just be.

I’m learning that I’m not here to control others and circumstances.  That I attract everything I experience.  If I run into grumpy people, it’s only because I have attracted them.  If I run into delightful folks, it’s because I’ve attracted them.  Every event and experience is from my point of attraction.  No one is doing anything to me.  Everything I experience I created.  Knowing this takes the blame, guilt and victimization out of the equation.  It places everything in my lap of responsibility.

This has actually been great news for me, because my life experience is up to me—and me alone!  It doesn’t matter what’s going on around me, I can choose to still be happy.  I can do this by utilizing my built-in Emotional Guidance System.  This amazing system indicates exactly where my point of attraction is positioning my experiences.  And, it’s easy to use.  It’s all about my feelings.  And, guess what?  We all have this amazing guidance system!

If we can start paying attention to how we feel, we will be able to utilize the system with ease.  Take an assessment of your feelings right now.  Are you feeling good or bad?  Are you full of tension and stress?  Are you feeling really good and happy?  These feelings are your indicators of what kind of attractions you will experience—unless you choose to change those feelings by changing your thoughts.

Of course, there is contrast in life—things we don’t want to see and things we do want to see.  That contrast helps us decide what we want.  When we see something we don’t want, it lets us know what we do want.  When we decided to come into this time-space reality from the non-physical, we knew the contrast would help us decide what we want and how we want to expand.

The expanding part happens every moment of every day.  The asking part of what we want is very easy.  It happens naturally, even without focusing upon it.  Every time we see something we want we shoot rockets of desire into our vibrational escrow account where Source immediately sets in motion the coordinating of cooperative components and prepares our path to receiving it. 

Our only real work is to prepare an environment within our emotions to match what we want.  This emotional vibrational match will indicate to the universe that we are ready to receive what we’ve put into our vibrational escrow account.  We always want something because we believe we will feel better by having it.  So, the better we feel, the more we match everything we want!  How do we do this?  We must learn to think like Source which creates a great feeling!  Source knows us to be unlimited, eternal, creative, pure, positive energy.  Abundance is universal.  When we ask, it is given!  Not sometimes—all the time.  Don’t blame God/Source–as if it’s not his will–or fate because you didn’t get what you wanted.  It’s up to us to match its vibration and allow it into our experience.

How do we know when we are thinking like Source so we can receive all the wonderful things we have put into our vibrational escrow account?

By our feelings!!!  We have the Emotional Guidance System—remember?!  Just by paying attention to how we feel will indicate our thoughts and whether they are a match to what Source is thinking on the same subject.  Remember, each subject is really two subjects: the wanted and the lack of the wanted.

Source never, ever, thinks in terms of lack.  We get to decide if our thoughts are that of Source—thoughts of abundance and appreciation—or thoughts of lack.  Our feelings indicate what we are thinking.  If we are feeling bad, we are not thinking from Source’s point of view—this feels bad because we are not in alignment with Source or what we want.  If we are feeling good, we are thinking in alignment with Source and in harmony with all that we want.

See how easy it is to determine what we are thinking?  We don’t have to monitor every thought.  That would be impossible.  We can, however, monitor the way we feel, right now, right now, right now!

Everything we are thinking about is happening right now.  Whether we’re thinking about the past, present or future, we are thinking about it right now.  It is active in our vibration right now.  And, right now is our point of attraction!

Now, our job is to choose better-feeling thoughts if we are feeling bad.  We are to reach for better-feeling thoughts that bring relief.  Any ease in feelings will bring us closer to all that we want.  No one is here to do this vibrational work for us.  No one is here to bring us happiness or act the way we want them to.  How people act is not our job to control.  It’s really none of our business.  And, we are not here to please other people, either!  That is taking on the role of Source.  We can never fully please anyone.  There will always be something we’re not doing right—for them.  So let that go.  Let Source be their all-in-all.

Our job is to please ourselves—not in an egotistical way—but in an alignment with Source way.  When we are in alignment with the thoughts of Source, we could never do anything that would hurt or harm another—unlike being selfishly egotistical.  Let’s make our resolution this New Year of 2016 to learn to align our thoughts with Source.  Let’s determine to feel better by reaching for better-feeling thoughts of relief.  Let’s begin to learn the art of allowing and put ourselves in the mode of receiving all that we want.

We’ll never get it done and we can never get it wrong.  We cannot reach a place of no return.  Any situation or emotion can be turned around to align with our Inner Being of Source.  We can never get so far off our path, that we cannot return to alignment by changing our perspective.

We need to look for positive aspects of each situation.  Whatever is going on around us, let’s look for positive things we can appreciate.  Sometimes it takes a while to start easily noticing things we appreciate, but they are there.  (I’m preaching to the choir here!)  It takes some work to change our perspective if we’ve practiced finding fault, placing blame or having a victim mentality.  Let’s determine to see things we want.  Let’s rewrite our sad stories into ones of delight and appreciation.

Let’s stop observing what is and look for what can be!  If we focus only on what is, what is will keep repeating over and over in our lives.  Different places, different faces.  We will only keep what is activated in our emotional vibration and that is out of alignment with our Source within.  Everything is happening now—remember?  Let’s look for ways to appreciate aspects of what is and move on to appreciation instead of whining and complaining.

I am totally looking forward to 2016!  With the determination of making how I feel the most important goal in my life, I know that I want to feel good.  I can only accomplish feeling good by creating a vibrational environment of appreciation, love, happiness, fun, excitement, vibrancy, vitality, wellness, etc.  I’m determined to look for things I want to see and make appreciation my priority.  It is my job to choose good-feeling thoughts which produce a good-feeling life experience.  That’s my resolution for 2016!

If you must have a New Year’s Resolution—make your happiness your resolution.  Make feeling good your top priority.  Change your perspectives enough to reach for better-feeling thoughts each and every time you start to notice your Emotional Guidance System indicating a misalignment with your Source Energy within.  Decide to only think on good things that make you feel good.  Find positive aspects of what’s going right in your life.  Write that sh*t down!  Every day!  There is something profound in writing down things you appreciate, are grateful for or things you want—whether it’s resources, relationships, money, time or that perfect job.  It literally changes our brain function.

I love to use the computer to type most of my writing, but I still use a pen and spiral-bound book to physically write in my journals.  There’s something so special about looking back over the journals and reading what I’ve written to see where I’ve grown.  If I’m feeling bad and can’t think of anything good to think about, I read my journals.  It refreshes my memory of all the good and encourages my faith that all is really well!

Go purchase a journal and a special pen.  I name my journals, My Journal of Positive Aspects and My Gratitude Journal.  I have a special pen with purple ink—my favorite color—and named it My Magical Purple Pen of Increase.  Make your writing special.  Try it—you’ll like it!

Meditate and quiet your mind so you can be open to hearing the still small voice of inspiration from your Inner Source.  When inspiration comes, take the action.  No amount of action thrown at what you want will bring it to you—it will only push it further out of your reach.  Action comes only after you have done the vibrational work to align with your Source within!  Action without alignment is exhausting and futile.

Let’s make 2016 a year of happiness.  If you’re into numerology, 2016 is the year of 9—all the digits add up to 9.  It places energy on promoting completion.  Suggesting it’s time to wrap things up and reach a conclusion.  A time to consider what’s not been working for you and begin doing things differently with a new perspective on life.  Enjoy the energy of 2016 with its focus on promoting a positive perspective on life that all is well.  By reaching for better-feeling thoughts and recognizing what would work better for you, determine what you really want from the contrast life is showing you.

Have fun with this!  It’s really exciting to realize empowerment of your life experience.  It’s time to let go of blame, shame, guilt, playing the victim and take responsibility for your own feelings.  It’s time to pull up our big-person panties and smile with their perfect fit!

Laugh, love unconditionally, have fun, explore new things, feel good!  Well-Being is our natural state.  Try it on this year—it feels really good!
